✨p a m & t o m m y✨ for your emmy consideration • Best Period & Character Hairstyling and Makeup • The majority of our principal characters wore custom wigs from @wigmakerassociates in Beverly Hills, with the exception of Sebastian Stan who used his own hair. • Lily James had a total of 4 wigs that were constantly rotated to keep up with the number of looks required on a daily basis. I colored the nape of her own hair to seamlessly blend into her wig whenever the hair was up. Lily wore a prosthetic forehead piece that allowed me to accurately recreate Pamela’s hairline and forehead to eyebrow ratio by placing the wig behind her natural hairline, which was covered by the prosthetic. • In order to achieve Tommy Lee’s effortless 90’s grunge look, it was necessary to modify Sebastian’s texture with a Brazilian Smoothing treatment at Harper Salon, to eliminate his natural wave. Erica Adam’s masterfully recreated his iconic cut and color, which she maintained throughout. • Seth Rogen wore a full wig, complete with a custom nape piece. The color and texture were modeled after Seth’s hair when he was younger. We researched period head sheets for a variety of mullets and Erica Adam’s did a beautiful cut based on our findings. His overall silhouette was inspired by my father’s hair from the 90’s. • Nick Offerman wore a custom wig with a silk top to create the illusion of thinning throughout the top and crown. His texture and silhouette was inspired by an older Ron Jeremy and the color was blended to match Nick’s natural color. • Taylor Schilling also wore a custom wig with texture and color designed to match her natural hair.
