When Elin was 3 years old she asked me for a baby sister one night at bedtime, at which point I had to hold back tears since we were struggling to conceive after a miscarriage. Since the day Lila was born Elin has always had so much pride in her big sister role but this week was next level watching her take Lila under her wing at school. There was not a tear shed on Lila’s first day of pre school and I’m pretty sure it’s because she knew her big sister wasn’t far away. #sisters❤️
