In “Pilot’s Seat” (2025), the work is inspired by a fighter pilots seat prototype designed and made by Charles and Ray Eames during WWII. The work reimagines the molded plywood seat as mid-century reading chair, taking form from the airplanes themselves with an airplane window room divider and turret-like lamp. “Pilot’s Seat”, 2025 Bent plywood, walnut, holly, shellac, aluminum, leather, shearling upholstery, lighting parts 30x34.5x52 in On view at @super___house till Oct 18 📷 @matthewgordonstudio
