Thank you for everyone who showed up to my pop ups, in Los Ángeles or San Diego. I’m beyond grateful. I never thought it was possible to be so happy and fulfilled. Thank you for believing in me, from the bottom of my heart. I started to paint as a form of healing, I created Chucho as a message to the world of that healing process. For those who aren’t familiar with his story, he’s a piñata. Pinatas were originally filled with seeds , then broken to spread the seeds throughout the garden. Ironically after breaking the piñata is when you see the growth, and I resonated with that story. I got to the lowest point in my life before I was able to see the purpose, in a twisted little tale ( tail 😮‍💨) the darkness was the biggest blessing in my life and the climb out of the darkness was what helped me to value the light.
