I’ve been in an upside down cake phase recently. It’s such an adaptable and satisfying way to use all sorts of summer fruit. I made this one with Flavor Kings and a buttermilk cake base. It was perfect with a scoop vanilla ice cream. I put the cake and some pints of ice cream in the stroller and took the whole thing to a park hang with friends, the sweetness of summertime 🧡.
