Attending Passion 2025 was the best way to start the year off! Words simply can not describe what Passion 2025 was like, but if I had to pick one word to describe this life-changing event, I would say, "Astonishing!" I picked this word because we live in a culture where we are made the center of everything. Everything is about us, but that's wrong. Everything on this earth is made for God's glory. WE are made for GOD'S Glory. Everything is about God! It's not about us, nor will it ever be about us, and it was truly astonishing to see a group of young men and women come to Atlanta, not for themselves but to give all praise, honor, glory, and worship to the ONE who deserves it and is worthy of it all. JESUS!!! As we sang, "Our God is an Awesome God" and "The Lord Will Provide"I couldn't help but open my eyes and look around State Farm Arena and see thousands upon thousands of believers worshipping the name of Jesus! I'm truly blessed and thankful that the Holy Spirit moved through multiple people, including myself, while at Passion. I didn't know what to expect before getting to Passion, except that I would be transformed by God, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, my expectations were met and exceeded! During my time at Passion, Jesus freed me from the shame and guilt I had been feeling from sin. He called me up to a higher standard. He called me up as His son and called me to stand apart from the world. The "treasures" that we seek in this world will never satisfy us; only Jesus will, for He is the true treasure!
