Boeuf à la Cuillère ✨ “So tender, you can eat it with a spoon!” 🍲 ⸻ 👩🍳 INGREDIENTS • Extra-virgin olive oil • 21⁄2 pounds (1.1 kg) beef, one whole piece (chuck or shank), fat removed • 1 clove garlic, chopped • 2 onions, peeled and chopped • 2 cups beef broth • 1 cup Marsala Secco Superiore • 2 tablespoons tomato paste • Bouquet garni (thyme, parsley, sage, bay leaf — tied or wrapped) ⸻ 🔥 STEPS 🐮 Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). 🐮 Heat olive oil in a large cast iron or Dutch oven. 🐮 Add beef and sear on all sides, about 8–10 minutes. 🐮 Add garlic and onions. Cook for 5 more minutes. Remove from heat. 🐮 In a bowl, mix broth, Marsala, and tomato paste. Add bouquet garni and pour over the beef. 🐮 Cover and place in the oven. Let cook for 11⁄2 hours. 🐮 Flip the beef, then cook for another 11⁄2 hours. 🐮 Remove from oven, discard bouquet garni.
