#TBT to 2014 on another episode of “Christine is going to try it even if she fails.” Back when I was a vegan, I had an idea to create a pilot for a cooking show called VEGGIE HEADZ. SYNOPSIS: VEGGIE HEADZ was an interactive show that teaches kids the importance of incorporating fresh fruits, vegetables and healthy habits into their lives. Through the use of puppetry, music, singing, dancing and acting, students learn that making healthy choices can be easy...especially when you find fun and creative ways to do it. I am still blown away by how my bestie @muadaybyrd helped me create my character, “SUMMER THE VEGGIECATOR” amongst many others. It was a blast casting the project with the help of @picturesandcocktails_ and her production company YaySayers. John Beal created the music. Dawn Axam created the choreography. Shimone Woodberry was our amazing director. UPDATE? The show never went anywhere. I never got around to making it a LIVE touring show to take to elementary schools. But... I DID IT. Every dime came from my bank account. I believed in myself and worked 2 jobs to fund my dream. I learned that when YOU believe in yourself and your vision, it makes it easier for others to do so as well. I am proud of this moment. I am inspired by my tenacity and even as I post this, I am reminded that I have more to give and create. F@*K FEAR.
