happiest birthday to mila’s gorgeous grandma! 🍒 having her with us this past month as i transition into motherhood has been one of the greatest gifts ive ever received. my mom has always been the most selfless, supportive, sacrificial and resilient woman i know, but my gratitude for her has deepened in ways i never could have imagined since becoming a mom. life isn’t always fair, but being paired up with her has always been a reminder that the universe has had my back. mom, i have no idea how you worked full-time, took me and my friends to every @britneyspears, @nsync, and @backstreetboys concert, yet still made sure i never got less than an a- in math—but if i can give mila even half of what you’ve given me, she’ll be the luckiest girl in the world. everything i know about being a mom, i learned from the best. i’d choose you to be my mom in every lifetime, @frenchimegs. i love you endlessly. we all do ❤️ i know not everyone has their mom near—whether through loss, distance, or complicated relationships—my heart is with those who feel that absence. big hugs. xo
