Despite commitments made in the past years, LGBT+ people in many Commonwealth countries are still targeted by discriminatory laws, rarely enjoy legal protection against discrimination and experience barriers in freely expressing themselves and in organising collectively. This report is a joint effort between @kaleidoscope_t and the Commonwealth Equality Network @commonwealth_equality , and it identifies gaps between the commitments made by Commonwealth states and the reality for LGBT+ people in the Commonwealth and also examines the obligations of these member states under international human rights law.
