I love graduation ceremonies. Mainly because I think about how hard people work to get to that point - the countless hours studying, the sacrifices made, the money invested - it’s such an important day for students and their families. And that is why I felt particularly moved when asked to produce the musical finale for @northeastern ‘s commencement exercises at @fenwaypark. And the University empowered me to create the biggest one yet. After a receiving an email with subject line “bigger is better”, I felt that 200+ performers, including singers, dancers, instrumentalists performing an 8-minute piece, a 25k person card stunt (swipe for video), original music, and daytime fireworks would do the trick. 🙃 It was an insane week of prep, but fully worth it when you see the reactions of all the grads (also swipe for video).
