But here in Central Georgia, a network of practitioners, researchers, nonprofits, and care workers are fighting to make sure not a single mother becomes another statistic. Meet some of the dedicated professionals working to solve Georgia’s maternal mortality crisis with innovative medicine, technology, and community outreach.
