General circuits have an important purpose greater than just to fill time and raise the heart rate. The design and contents should include movement and attractors that relate to the sport of interest to some degree. Running based sports have a big emphasis on pelvic positioning. A poorly positioned pelvis would limit force application and potentially increase injury risk. Here’s a neat circuit that will light your abs up, and help to create some better awareness as to how your hips are positioned. I’m played around with this before/ after sessions and they both work great. Performing before a run / gym session can make you feel more stable through your session.
