I MADE IT. GOAL ACCOMPLISHED. Cheers to 1 YEAR SOBERRRR 🥂 🎉🌟 • • • • Disclaimer: This detox was not in any way an end all be all. Ultimately, my goal was to become a better me and to do that I knew I needed a hard reset. In this process I made a goal to remove the *need* for any drugs, hard alcohol, and/or nicotine. Really get to know myself and how I operate w/o being under the influence, you know? No longer do I have to lean on them to cope, or even manifest a sense of true happiness. I tapped into a new corner of discipline, self-control/love, and productivity that I’ve benefited from immensely. Most of all, I’ve learned to deal with my MF problems as well as my emotions without the help of any substances. I can now welcome them as well as every part of myself, with open arms. Man, I’m so proud of myself and who’ve I’ve become during this process! This was not an easy task. I’ve faced so many obstacles along the way—some unfathomable circumstances. Yet, I stayed the course. I learned so much about who I am and what I’m capable of. This detox was very much so worth it. Am I magically perfect now and all my problems have disappeared? Fuck no. Am I better equipped to deal with whatever life brings my way? HELL YES. Mentally and physically, it’s pretty lit over here for the most part. Here’s to new beginnings...and kombucha lmao🫶🏽
