🥜 DEEP FRIED…SNICKERS?! At the Disneyland Resort?! 😱🤯 OOohhhhh yes!! Finally got around to trying the seasonal Spell Bar from Award Wieners in Disney California Adventure! You only hear about these kinds of over-the-top foods from places like carnivals 😆 BUUUUT here we are…Disney California Adventure has got a deep fried Snickers for us to try during the Halloween season! The Spell Bar is made with a batter-fried Snickers bar with chocolate drizzle and chopped peanuts. It also comes served with some whipped cream for your dipping pleasure 😋 Also, even though the official description doesn’t mention this, the treat is very clearly topped with Snicker chunks! I gotta tell ya - I was oddly, yet pleasantly, satisfied with this snack! What this ended up tasting like was a funnel cake with chocolate, nuts, and whipped cream - it wasn’t the least bit weird and actually quite tasty! The Snickers bar was completed melted in the center (as expected). So, while you had a moderately crispy outer layer, you had that nice chocolatey, gooey center. I was definitely thinking this would be a bit much before getting into it (I mean…it’s a deep fried candy bar) - and it might be a bit much for some if you don’t have a sweet tooth like I do, but it was…well, pretty impressive! Would I recommend it? Yes, yes I would - you gotta try this thing at least once if you haven’t had anything like it before. If you’re planning on giving this one a try, make sure you get yours before the Halloween season is over!!
