I’m a huge Solo Leveling fan, and especially love Aleks Le and his work in the dub. I’d give it an easy 8.5/10 and think it’s genuine peak. However, Demon Slayer absolutely deserves all the credit in the world for the same reasons that Solo Leveling does and I think it is categorically better across the board. Characters, story, animation, fight choreography, pacing, aura, literally everything is a step up in demon slayer. But people will refuse to have this conversation because it is cool and contrarian to hate on demon slayer because it is rightfully so popular. DS is one of the most popular manga and anime for a reason, and I’m so sick of people saying it’s dumb to like it and the story is trash when it genuinely deeply develops its characters and is a work of art from a backstory and emotional perspective. Solo leveling hype is deserved but is also outrageously hypocritical. #demonslayer #sololeveling #fyp
