My recipe for Nutella creme anglaise aka French cream:
Ingredients:
-4 egg yolks
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar more if you like
- 1 tbsp Nutella more if you like
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
Instructions:
- whisk egg yolks with all dry ingredients, add vanilla extract, and Nutella mix well in metal bowl.
- Warm cream not boil cream and add a little at a time while mixing to the egg mixture
- boil pot of hot water, lower heat to medium, place metal mixing bowl on top of pot and mix until mixture has a pudding like viscosity.
- put metal bowl on ice bath and mix until cool, sieve your mixture and store in container in fridge and serve hot or cold when ready.
