My first time making a Chocolate Basque cheesecake with Ferraro rocher, 24k edible gold, and a Nutella creme anglaise šŸ« Shout out to @catherine.desserts chocolate basque cake recipe and it turned out awesome but I just readjusted some things to my liking, Catherine is an awesome baker and dessert enthusiast so check her page out for more: Catherine’s chocolate basque cake recipe: https://zhangcatherine.com/chocolate-basque-cheesecake/ My recipe for Nutella creme anglaise aka French cream: Ingredients: -4 egg yolks - 1 cup heavy whipping cream - 1/2 tsp salt - 1 tbsp sugar more if you like - 1 tbsp Nutella more if you like - 1 tsp vanilla extract - 1 tbsp cocoa powder Instructions: - whisk egg yolks with all dry ingredients, add vanilla extract, and Nutella mix well in metal bowl. - Warm cream not boil cream and add a little at a time while mixing to the egg mixture - boil pot of hot water, lower heat to medium, place metal mixing bowl on top of pot and mix until mixture has a pudding like viscosity. - put metal bowl on ice bath and mix until cool, sieve your mixture and store in container in fridge and serve hot or cold when ready. #chocolate #basquecheesecake #cheesecake #cremeanglaise #nutella #dessert #dessertrecipe #dessertofinstagram #foodgram #baking #homecooking #subtleasianbaking #foodgram #yayareafoodie
