My life has been a series of miraculous events! One being that when I was 26 years old I was hit by a car on my bicycle and flew head first into the pavement severely fracturing my neck, spine, and skull. I didn’t have insurance at the time and a charity at Vanderbilt hospital payed my entire bill, which was robust. I was in a neck brace for a while, lost some teeth, but I fully recovered, and only have a small scar remaining. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros took me on tour playing violin that year as I regained my strength. It turned out to be one of the best years of my life. :) I’m very thankful for that experience, for the feeling of being carried by love through that difficult time, for my Mom coming to Nashville and nursing me back to health, and for the ability to play and share music with the world - for Forever I hope! Thank you for reading this long story. It’s almost my birthday and I’m so grateful to have made it another year on earth! 🌏
