Truth and ReconciliACTION Day! Today is about Residential School Survivors. How they died in the hands of the Canadian government and the churches. The last Residential School closed in 1996. Many survivors are still coping and healing with the trauma from these schools. The intergenerational impact is STILL felt throughout our communities! Reflecting and being on our ancestral lands this morning! Reflecting back on the amazing weekend I had with the @soul.of.miistaki Iinii (Buffalo) crew! Words will not do it justice the healing we all went through those past 3 days! I've felt every darn emotion this past week! ❤️ Can't wait to be with my community tonight! 🧡
