I’ve always loved fashion since I was a kid. My mother is a designer/artist, so I grew up watching her bring her ideas to reality by painting on her own clothing that she designed. So it’s no wonder that I am naturally drawn to this creative direction that I’m in now. For years while in New York working for a few notable fashion brands. I finally knew what direction I wanted to go in with my life. But the execution and story had to be how I envisioned it. I saw many of my friends around me coming out with their own clothing lines killing it. But I knew that my story was vastly different and needed to be expressed in the way that I envisioned. Not watered down to fit in. Initially when I landed in Los Angeles circa 2008, I had no idea how the area would effect me. I first stumbled across Angeles Crest Highway, but chose to not explore that road much because I was used to high speed riding back in NYC, and I didn’t think I had the self control to keep myself safe there. When I was shown Mulholland HWY, it was a big culture shock to me because of the narrow technical type of roads and environment. The roads surrounding Mulholland HWY in Agoura Hills are barely 9 feet wide and have fast approaching oncoming traffic that shocked me as well as the cliff-side drops. I was so encapsulated by this eye opening experience that I started my own YouTube channel to share my perspective and experiences with others around the world. That was my first foray into telling my story. I never intended to be a “YouTuber”, I just enjoyed expressing myself creatively. Hence why I don’t post many videos there anymore. I say all of this to say that what you were used to seeing from me in the past content-wise is going to be vastly different from this point on. I’m answering my true calling as a creative, telling my story now through clothing. This is just the beginning because as I embark on new adventures, the clothing and whatever else I’m inspired to create will be inspired by the new stories in my life as they unfold.
