Passion 2022 was so many things this year. Joyful, convicting, beautiful... In the last couple of years, I found myself too often focusing my perspective on the problems and challenges myself, my nation, and the world were facing. And let me tell you, it was EXHAUSTING. It was spiritually draining and I found the great commission Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:16-20 become more and more distant in my life. As Christine Caine said, “When you forget the glimpse of the glory of God, everything else will be skewed.” But What about the promises of God? The promises that: ~ He loves us more than we can imagine.. 1 John 4:9-11 ~He will never leave nor forsake us...Deuteronomy 31:6 ~You can be used by God to do good works no matter who you are or what you’ve done..Matthew 4:19 ~He’s coming back and making all things new....Revelation 22:12 It’s a powerful thing when your perspective shifts from the problems of the world to the promises of the almighty God. Glory be to king Jesus!! “With all my heart I love You Sovereign Lord, Tomorrow let me love You even more, And rise to speak the goodness of Your name, Until I close my eyes and sleep again.”
