We are excited to announce Marion Tanis as our new Board Chair, supported by our new Board Vice Chair Dore Murphy for the 8/1/22 - 7/31/24 term. Marion Tanis is a strategist and creative producer, working on behalf of the human condition. He likes to figure out what people want and need at a personal, cultural, and generational level, and then deliver it in the most delightful and natural way possible. His clients include Apple TV, NBCUniversal, EPIX, Showtime, Viacom, Netflix, HBO Max, YouTube, A+E Networks, Target, Facebook, Starbucks, Ripple, Capital One, Mastercard, Samsung, Adidas, among numerous others. Marion is thrilled to be part of the Art Start community because of the scale of impact the organization will have as we grow alongside emerging generations. Dore Murphy is the Director of Membership at The Museum of Modern Art, leading growth strategy and operations for MoMA’s membership program. Prior to joining MoMA, Dore held various marketing leadership positions, including Head of Marketing for the Content & Services division at Samsung Electronics, and Managing Director of Digital Subscriptions at the New York Times. She graduated from Skidmore College with a B.S. in Fine Arts. Dore's arts education was a critical part of her development and she is thrilled to be involved in Art Start to help bring access to creative outlets to those who may not otherwise have access. #ArtStart #ArtSavesLives
