Police in West Sakwa location in Bondo, Siaya County are investigating an incident where the body of a middle-aged woman was found around Goma area along the Bondo-Usenge road. The body of the unidentified woman was found by the roadside, with locals suspecting that she was murdered elsewhere and the body dumped in the area. Area police commander Kepher Onkundi said the body, which had no visible injuries, was moved to Bondo Sub County Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem and identification. "The body was found by school-going children who raised the alarm. Members of the public rushed to the scene after which police officers were called to action," Onkundi said. Meanwhile, police have appealed to those who have filed a missing persons report to visit the morgue in order to help identify the body.
