Remembering today my teacher @gurujagat Remembering today also that popularity does not guarantee integrity. Popularity does not ensure legacy. Today I am reminded of choosing integrity and legacy over easy popularity, or being liked by everyone. How easy it would be to “tone down” or “conform” to a more palatable image (and lineage), to get rid of the words, the turban or the man. To turn the teachings into tricks and the tricks into likes and followings. To disconnect myself from the lineage, and far out on my own (as we know, that road leads to no where. And you might travel for years in the wrong direction before you realize that you are lost). Alone, one might travel quicker, but together we can go much further. Today I am so deeply grateful to be part of Guru Jagat’s legacy @ramainstitute Today I am so deeply grateful to have teachers who guide me on this path of Kundalini Yoga. Today I am so deeply grateful to be connected to the Golden Chain.
