Just curious, do you ever compare yourself with others? Or maybe with just one person that is in your industry and they are SOARING, and maybe you feel like you are slightly sinking? I’ve been there. I go there...AND...I have a recipe to get out of it. Here’s my reframe: When I show up for you, you (or someone else) shows up for me. It might look different, feel different, but the truth is, knowing that someone is behind us and rooting for us, feels pretty darn good. In business, of any type, in life, of all types, we can choose competition or connection - we can choose comparison or collaboration. So, when I see someone in my company or field doing great at something that maybe I am not so good at, I cheer them on. And, if I have a “tug” or trigger at first, I sit with it, until I am ready to support and cheer them on. Because I get that what we put out, makes a difference in other people’s lives as well as our own. When you give, you get. Period! My invitation to you today is to go out and love on someone. Recognize them. SEE them. Hug them! Because I promise when you do, you will feel all the love and more back at you. If we could all sprinkle a bit more love, a few more hugs, a smidgen more of positivity, I think our world would be humming nicely. XO
