I woke up missing the roaming city cows from back home so i remembered this series captured by @daniel_naude a few years ago in South Africa. I love these so much cuz I feel they capture the idea that cows and cattle continue to be an integral part of the city life in so many African cities! Cows are pedestrians, stubborn living things that will stop in the middle of the road, stare you down and potentially shit or pee on your car and I can’t help but appreciate the juxtaposition of these symbols of two different worlds colliding, the city/fast life, and the rural/nomad life ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These made me smile and I hope they make you smile too.
