Took this before an interview for a music supervisor program I really wanted to get into. I was asked what my career goals were and I really just wanted to say “to not die” lmao. Nah but for real I tried to explain that I’ve never had this “ultimate goal” and that honestly everything is so fleeting and unknown who knows where I’ll end up. I just know it’s either art or die for me. Needless to say, I didn’t get into the program but I’m glad I had the opportunity to speak with these people. And I’m happy I put myself out there. I already know I’m going to be a music supervisor at some point. It’s just a matter of time. I’ve been working my ass off and will continue to do so. It was a humbling experience though for sure.
