In 2009 @therealbuffy and I were sharing a studio apartment which also doubled as my mix room. It was cramped but it was my creative space to write, compose, mix and really dial in my flow while also working as an assisting/eng at Record Plant. I once brought a label A&R there to listen to his artist's mix, not realizing how amateur the space made me look. Do you think I got that mix...? NOPE!!
