Also this weekend.. @echriqui killed me when she chose to wear my Spring 1978 Halston to present at the @green4ema awards. It is SO GOOD on her and I loved being able to support yet another great organization trying to do good in our world.... And for my fellow vintage geeks... from a fashion history point of view this is an interesting dress .... If you swipe you will see the original sketch Halston did for this dress for his Spring 1978 collection and he must have really loved it because he did a version of it again for the Resort 1981 collection. For that later dress he made a small tweak to the bodice, doing it in a pleated jersey, and he also crossed it over more at the bottom. Personally I love the original earlier version that I lent to Emmanuelle but would love to find the later one one day too!
