Meet the Dannatts... in today’s @fthtsi. It was such a pleasure to talk to writer, curator and “resting thespian” Adrian Dannatt (the child star of 1970s TV series Just William and the author of Doomed and Famous, a new book of obituaries) and his 97-year-old mother Joan, an artist who had her first solo show @rebeccahossackartgallery at age 90. I also had a good nose around their glorious Islington home, filled with artwork, paintings by Joan, family heirlooms and modernist interventions by Adrian’s dad, architect Trevor Dannatt, who worked on the Royal Festival Hall.
