Located inside the new @radiohotelnyc in Washington Heights, the collaboration is between Richard Sandoval of Richard Sandoval Hospitality and Antonio Espaillat, founder of the iconic Santo Domingo restaurant Jalao. Handcrafted Dominican furniture adorns the dining area, while the walls are splashed with brightly colored murals and authentic Carnival masks. The renowned menu is made with fresh, local ingredients and nuanced flavors celebrated within the Dominican community, such as Pecao’Frito, Chuleta Cancan, Paila Jalao, Mofongo Mar y Tierra, sancocho, and La Bandera Dominican.
