How to make embossed tin matchboxes. Have you ever heard of repujado? This is a repujado project from my recent book and I just posted the full tutorial with a more complete video on my blog. I also added the affirmations as a free printable and one pattern that you can use. You can use any kind of aluminum can, just be careful because the edges can be sharp. You’ll also need craft foam and a ballpoint pen and dollar store scissors. I bought most of these items at dollar tree. You draw your item on to the aluminum working on top of craft foam flip it over. Trace over the design again and you could use a stylus tool to emboss the tin so that it is raised on the front side. After that glue it to the front of a little matchbox. I like to use the inside of the matchbox to glue a little affirmational sayings.
