It’s been a pretty difficult time for many people over the past 13 Covid months, myself included, with a lot of unpredicted ups and downs. My professional career and lifestyle completely ceased. It was tough, all my work got cancelled (see second photo - 2020 emoji travel calendar). I had to realign my thinking and pivot in every way. I was in one place for the first time after 7 years of constant international travel. It left me feeling unmotivated to post on Instagram during this period as I believe there has been a lot more important things going on than what I could offer on this platform - most recently with the pandemic and Covids third wave causing a fresh surge of lock downs for many friends and family internationally. I wanted to be respectful of the great hardship people are facing and there was definitely a guilt in sharing anything I was up to, be it around travel or projects I was working on, while the majority of the world was restricted in what it could do. Truth be told there was not a lot going on, but I was safe and grateful to be surrounded by loved ones in LA. Last month Nicole and I were lucky enough to receive both doses of the Pfizer vaccine. I feel this has turned a page for me personally and brings hope that more and more people are being vaccinated and that the world will open up again one day soon. Having the vaccine on board and travel restrictions easing feels like things are going in the right direction. I’m motivated again to produce content and show you what I have been up to over the last few months and what’s coming up. I’ve partnered with some cool brands and been building a company.
