During our stay in Denver I made it a point to make the pilgrimage to the @wmdevices HQ to come pay respect and meet the team before they close up shop at the end of the year. WMD is one of my favorite modular synth companies. In @theglitchmob we use four AXYS modules in our cases for the #CTRLALTREALITY tour and those modules are the backbone of how our systems work. WMD has always made modules that were so functional with no fluff or sexy things to rope you into buying their stuff. Every knob and jack has a purpose that is useful and their stuff is always so well thought out for live performance. A big part of my Eurorack collection is WMD modules so I’m sad to see them go but I’m glad I got to meet the team and see a part of synth history.
