You could feel her energy across a room or through an image like this. When I first met Dayle in the late 80’s she was a woman and I was on my way to becoming one. She represented a life beyond where I was in that moment and we made an immediate connection. We used to get together for her birthday each year but life got busy for us both and our exchanges became fewer, but always remembered to connect around the birthdays. I’m thankful for the time, experiences and passions we shared. And thank you for challenging me too sometimes. When I would become cynical about the attention over the things I saw as less valuable, you reminded me that light was light. Light is light. Your light shines on, sweet Dayle. 🤍
