#TourLife - We are at Hersey Stadium 🤘🤘 Today’s lesson in our makeshift Backstage Dojo 🤙 Osoto Gari Modification 👊 Osoto Gari is great takedown for Jiu-Jitsu players because it’s very very unlikely that you’d over rotate on landing (like you could with the Seoi Nages or Uchi) and with the Oso you end up in side control - HOWEVER - it can be easily countered by a good judoka - so - with this mod 👉 The Tori’s hip Never passes the Uke’s , and the outer reap stays tight and does not extend far - while a lateral motion puts pressure on the side of the knee - this staples the feet and locks the ankle - taking away the option to counter (or escape) - Be very careful with this when you drill as it puts tremendous pressure on your opponent’s knee and ankle !!!! #judoforbjj #judoforjiujitsu #bjj #jiujitsu #takedown #5FDP #tourlife #fivefingerdeathpunch
