Growing up, I was HEAVILY BULLIED for being dark skinned with short hair. I mean OSTRACIZED. HUMILIATED. Kids were CRUEL. So I adopted the limiting belief that I needed long hair to be beautiful. Fast forward to adulthood and I released my obsession with the long hair aesthetic, shaved my head and embraced my full face with its striking features. I've never felt freer.
