Let me introduce you to my nephew James O’Reilly. He is an incredible abstract/contemporary painter that uses mixed materials in his works such as oils, acrylic, sand, and plaster to produce multi-faceted, textured pieces to suit all tastes and interior pallets. James’s Grandfather (my Dad) Michael Roe has been a huge inspiration to him over the years. My Dad is a highly renowned monumental sculptor and is currently the last person in the country to engrave by hand without any use of machinery. James has said his purpose in creating art is to evoke emotions such as joy and tranquillity through the use of colour, geometric shapes, and abstract scenes reminiscent of our experience of nature.
