Great news out of @bigbasin_sp just in time for the holidays: more trails are reopening there! 🎄 Starting Friday, December 23, you can hike the newly renovated Meteor Trail, a one-mile segment of Skyline to the Sea Trail, and the first mile of dog-friendly North Escape Road. In January 2023, the first mile of Sunset Trail is expected to open. Please note: parking at Big Basin is by reservation only. The parking fee is $8. When you visit, be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as there is no running water and limited services in the park.
