Fall has arrived bringing cool weather, warm beverages (in addition to hot mulled cider we now have coffee!), seasonal specials (see below) and a new face in the Finnriver Kitchen- all of which beckons some introductions:
Meet Thea! Our new Assistant Kitchen Manager here at Finnriver whose favorite color is that shade of blue that happens right before the sun has risen.
Introducing the “Lower Salmon River” Squash: This handsome squash above is a heritage variety shown here basking in the sunshine with some golden beets. This produce was grown just a stone's throw away at Creaky Knees Farm, owned and operated by our neighbors Julia and Lane, who have been members of the local farming community for years.
The Finnriver Kitchen is featuring the Lower Salmon River Squash and Golden Beets in an autumn-inspired hummus bowl, featuring roasted brussel sprouts, locally baked crostini (gluten free option available!), and just a touch of sweetness. (Vegan!) Shown here with a warm cup of coffee which brings us to our next introduction...
We have coffee! We’re proudly serving Steeped, a certified B Corp coffee company focused on purpose beyond profits, with a great taste and ethically sourced beans direct from farmers.
We hope to see you here in this glorious fall sunshine!
