I love the fact that everything is subjective. And over the past few years, I've learned to embrace it. Life is full of nuance, making it beautiful; nothing is black and white. It's all shades of grey. That's why I love this photo. It represents so many different things to different people depending on their points of reference. On the surface level, that's why I think it works as an image. But I really enjoy its simplicity and depth. The rich black and white tones create a sense of calm and subtleness.
