This ain’t gonna kill me. 🥷🏾😤 The words I told myself every day of 2020. 2020 was one of the toughest years of my life. Newly wed, unemployed, and recovering from double inguinal hernia surgery mid-pandemic. Some of my lowest points were reached that year. Mental and physical pain. I chose not to accept depression. Not to accept weakness. I learned to draw power from that pain and find comedy in feeling sorry for myself. I channeled all my failures, burned them, and built a new man from the ashes. 🔥 Physical fitness was the foundation of my redemption.
