My long İstanbul stay has now ended. After working tirelessly day after day, night after night, we finally reached a happy ending where the new Moshiqa collection is essentially complete with some minor wrapping up left to oversee. I’m grateful to all my business partners for functioning in harmony and in great productivity and creativity for perfecting our common goals. And as always, once again I am truly thankful to my beautiful fairy tale city: the ever and forever chaotic, maddening but mesmerizing İstanbul where the best craftsmanship is blended with innovation, inspiration and exquisite artistry. A warm hearted, hot headed, passionate city which always fires up my soul, morphing me into a little big giant of 100-humans’ strength and filling me up with an inexhaustible drive to pursue my wildest dreams. This is the bastion of thousands of years of treasures of civilizations. The seeds I planted here in this city have grown and already fetched me to Asia, America, Europe... to 25 countries globally.. thank you Istanbul, thank you Türkiye for being so generously fertile and blessed with talent, creativity and world class craftsmanship. And I must also add, although with many more obstacles still stubbornly entrenched, to function as a woman entrepreneur here is so much easier than many countries of our current world. One can move around safely without being suffocated by a gender barrier which is an invisible prison fence in so many countries hindering our sisters’ struggle for freedom and independence. Many of my colleagues and business partners in İstanbul, Türkiye, are independent and empowered women entrepreneurs themselves. Top notch sisters, all. ❤️‍🔥 Now I’m back in LA, the City of Light. Now it’s time to blend the fruits and create a wonderful cocktail. Pioneering once again with endless joy and equipped with the immense strength of the thousands of years’ strong love bond which connects us to our lovely pets.
