✨ HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS NATIONAL TOUR 2024!!!✨ I’m still in awe that I am making this post! The first time I auditioned for this show was at an open call in 2019 (peep the last pic, but please ignore the eyebrows 👀). Last year, @melodyfh helped me self tape for it while I was on another contract. This year I was in town for the open call in August and after I got through to callbacks, I felt really well about how things went. I thought to myself, “I’ll audition for this show every year until I can do it.” Cut to Halloween this year (!!) I got an email asking if I was available and interested in taking over for an actor who got injured on the tour. I said YES, packed a suitcase, and within 36 hours was on a flight to the first preview of the show. After one solo rehearsal and one rehearsal with the cast, it was debut time. I got fully in wig and costume for the first time, wheeled onstage (also for the first time!) in my little Who house, opened the door, and looked out at an audience of nearly 3,000 people. The word “surreal” does not even begin to cover it. SO THANKFUL and grateful for my family and friends for their support and love, for @bob_dragon and @murnanecastingnyc for bringing me onboard, and for the entire cast and crew of @grinchmusicaltour for welcoming me with open arms and showing me the ropes. This show and its people are absolute MAGIC. I am so honored to be here. A few weeks ago I told Mel that I’d decided November was going to be my favorite month of the year so far. The universe really said, “here you go!” My heart has grown three sizes in the past week. 💓 Excited for the rest of my weeks on tour and to bask in this joy as long as possible. ❤️
