To try and encapsulate this guy in the middle making that stupid ass grin in a single instagram caption is impossible. But I’d be remised if I didn’t take sometime to brag on one of the most incredible humans I’ve ever encountered. Patrick Keefe was the most genuine, smart, loving, caring individuals Gods ever put me in contact with. And on top of that, he was one of the hardest working dudes on our team. He was essentially superman. Walking in knob year (freshman year @TheCitadel) at the ripe age of 18 Pat already had a 12 pack and a chiseled chest. That shit wasn’t fair. Me looking at him with my gut and baby face, I had to admit, I’d never seen a white dude built like that before. But the best part about Patrick was his heart. As we grew closer through being in 3rd Battalion, sharing classes (where pat *helped out on our work throughout the years) mixed with watching over our shared roommate Harry, we formed a special bond. Throughout football, school, and Blake street (IYKYK). I don’t think I can count high enough on how many times I’ve seen Pat literally give the shirt off his back for someone, loan someone money, help someone out, a roof over someone’s head, or even a piece of encouragement/advice. This guy literally saved my ass when I had over a $1500.00 worth of parking tickets and got my car towed because my broke ass couldn’t afford it. And he didn’t even blink when I asked him if he could help me. He’s just that kind of guy. And I hate to see him go because he deserves an eternity here. They say the legends always go too soon but I know he’s pain free & in a better place. Glad to know we’ve got another angel up there looking out for every person he possibly can. We need more Pat Keefe’s in this world. So here’s to a man we all can aspire to be more like. I love you & miss you forever fam. I’ll see you soon ❤️
