Mental health and creativity go hand and hand. Battles Black women go through behind the scenes to keep ourselves as well as everyone else around us full, encouraged and sharp is a task that isn’t appreciated nor talked about often enough. Thankfully we live in a time where each and every one of us, individually as well as together, are making our mental, emotional and spiritual health a TOP priority! I’m extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to speak on my first panel EVER with amazing, creative Black women giving each other the room to just..be. Excited to start sharing bits of my journey and growth in real time. It’s VERY new for me and I was scared shitless to do this but WE here now babyyyy. Last night was truly a blessing!
