yesterday I went to meet up with the team at @sungaiwatch with my friend @_miguelblanco_ and it was an eye-opening experience. Not only to see all the trash but also the amazing, hardworking, superhero crew that dedicate their days to help clean up our beautiful island that’s being so polluted. (also Miguel tried rujak for the first time😂) I got to learn some new things including which are some of the “worst” trash and hardest to biodegrade, that cassava straws and cassava bags aren’t so easy to degrade as I thought, and the terribly negative impact that fast fashion the on the rivers. I loved getting involved and hope to continue to help spread awareness of the trash problem to make a change🌿 every little step counts.
