Months before our first day of shooting, we visit every location with a cast of stand-ins to create our photo-boards. @ericsteelberg and I developed this technique on Up In The Air and have used the process ever since. We act out every scene and take a photo of every angle in the real location. The result is a photo book that contains almost every shot in the movie. Also, the stand-ins always know the plan before everybody else. Special shout out to @shortfuse410 and the Rust City second team for bringing Ghostbusters to life before we ever got to set!
