Taking care of your health should not be a source of stress in your life. Playing sports my whole life and training in this industry for nearly 10 years, here are some phases I wish people never experience. ✈️ Food is a celebration of culture, connection, fueling the body, etc. Creating a negative relationship between exercising and food will not help you reach your goals. Move your body from a place of love and the want to improve. Fuel to have the energy to perform and do the things you love. The more you love yourself and your body the better you will treat yourself 🫶 ✈️This ties in with the above. ✈️Your body craves stability and routine. Make small changes and keep what works, drop what doesn’t. Your body changes all the time so you must adapt with it. Prioritizing taking care of your body and learning how to treat it so it performs it’s best is the first step to taking control of your health. As the vessel that carries you through life, the relationship you form with it is key to long term sustainable health. As the holiday season is here as well as the gatherings, the drinks, last minute work, and flu season, remember to be kind to yourself, your body, and to others.
