My Dad died at 59 of cancer. He was fat, diabetic, ate crap and never exercised. He also suffered from Severe Depression at times. Yet he was a successful small business owner that helped his community, loved his family and was kind to everyone. He could talk to anyone and enjoyed people. I see so much of him in me as I get older. The good and the bad. When he died it set a marker in my head. “59 that’s where this ends for you”. Well Fuck That!!!!! I love life to much. Not that he didn’t. He did and I feel for him and the demons that held him back from eating healthier and moving his body. I miss him so much. The things I wish he could be a part of. Seeing me perform, seeing the success of the commercials I have helped write and acted in. Met his grand daughter. So now I’m making better choices, moving my body, and asking for help when I need it.
